I will stamp all over 'serious fighter' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout fight which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" the American as the two fighters met personally to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.

Ex twice world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Boxer's Attitude

"I'm going to damage his features and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35, declared.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I will seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my goal."

Respectful Interaction

In spite of these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - typically recognized for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul win.

"[Paul] is better than Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Fighter

Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.

Paul's Background

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Commercial Success

However, the novice remains one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, regularly earning massive financial rewards.

Prediction and Belief

The 28-year-old anticipated a knockout win in rounds four or five and stated he would derail the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.

"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.

Size Disparity

As Joshua and Paul engaged in the traditional face-off, with their size difference clearly visible, it drove home just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is actually proceeding.
